Conostan viscosity standards are designed and developed according to the set standards of ASTM D2162. Conostan viscosity standards are basically mineral oil viscosity standards which are used for calibration and verification of various types of viscometers. All conostan viscosity standards have guarantee up to 2 years. These are to NIST and used for the determination of dynamic and kinematic viscosity values.

Cannon viscosity standards can determine the viscosity of any material weather it is kinematic or dynamic. These Cannon Viscosity Standards got certified for measurement and calibration from U.S. national measurement standards. It is based on the NIST value which is 1.0016 mPas (centipoise) for water at 20°C (68°F).
